PhoenixBird Information Technology & Systems Ltd., a leading supplier of IT and wireless networking solutions, announced today the availability of a new Mesh Wireless/Mobile Network Systems. This end-to-end, turnkey solution combines highly regarded Wi-Fi mesh products.

Metro-Mesh is a wireless network solution for gaining high – speed data access as well as SIP capable VoWiFi with optimum ease. Its based on WiF (wireless fidelity), which is the leading global standard for all-IP wireless/mobile broadband and other high-speed packet-based sources. Using 802.11b/g equipment, it provides fast login and offers various service options.

Metro-Mesh offers the performance, low cost, reliability and security.

Metro-Mesh Solution architecture is based on the deployment of radio nodes throughout the coverage area (e.g. campus, industrial area or whole city). The nodes form networks – meshes, which share the internet connection between each radio. This concept is very similar to cellular phone technology, where coverage is contained within a group of radios known as a cell. The phone and or IP-device can be moved in and out of different cells without losing the connection. The technical term for this is roaming.

PhoenixBird has been a global leader and innovator in wireless technology for over 10 years. Our expertise at “connecting the unconnected” has literally been proven all around the world. PhoenixBird is a portfolio of innovative wireless broadband solutions that create, complement and complete IP networks. Delivering IP coverage to virtually all spaces, the PhoenixBird portfolio includes Fixed Broadband, WiMAX, Mesh and Broadband Over Powerline solutions for private and public networks.

Metro-Mesh can design your network to ensure that you are meeting not only today’s need but the needs that you are likely to have tomorrow.
